My ethos and mission behind ‘The Brand That Breathes’ as a body of work that includes my upcoming book, 8 week live group business foundations program, and this show. If you want to go deeper you can read the full ethos expressed in manifesto form HERE.
The Brand That Breathes: Where reinvention, identity, and meaningful living meet.
The Brand That Breathes is a podcast about building a business that can evolve as you do.
Hosted by Meg Pearson, former television director and producer turned educator, breathwork teacher, digital marketing strategist and web designer, this show lives at the intersection of business, embodiment, creativity and the very human experience of figuring shit out as you go.
Because when you are a small business owner, there isn't always a neat line between the person and the business.
Your experiences shape what you teach.
Your values shape how you market.
Your seasons shape what you have the capacity to build.
And as you change, your business probably needs to change too.
Meg has spent more than 25 years working across media, storytelling, entrepreneurship and education. Her career has taken her from live television studios to culinary classrooms, yoga and breathwork spaces, international retreats and seven years working inside the plant medicine world, and eventually into web design, digital marketing and business education.
Through every iteration, one thing has remained the same: she teaches what she has learned, lived and tested.
The Brand That Breathes is where those worlds come together.
Expect conversations about marketing, websites, business foundations, entrepreneurship, visibility, messaging, systems and the realities of running a small business alongside deeper explorations of embodiment, leadership, integrity, spirituality, identity and change.
And if you scroll far enough back, you will hear that evolution happening in real time.
Earlier seasons explored wellness, spirituality, conscious parenting, pregnancy after loss and the limited series *Burn It Down*, which examined some of the harm, contradictions and uncomfortable truths Meg encountered inside the spiritual and plant medicine spaces she had once called home.
Those chapters aren't separate from what The Brand That Breathes is now.
They're the point.
A brand is not supposed to trap you inside the person you were when you started your business. It should have enough structure to support you and enough room to breathe.
The Brand That Breathes is an ongoing exploration of how we build businesses that are strategic without becoming soulless, personal without becoming performative and flexible enough to evolve alongside the humans running them.
This philosophy is also the foundation of Meg's upcoming book, *The Brand That Breathes*, and her eight-week live Business Foundations program for entrepreneurs who want to build the strategy, marketing and systems underneath a business that actually works.
Your business doesn't need another identity crisis every time you evolve.
It needs better foundations.
