Two rounds ago, I announced that Breath Alchemy Circle was coming to an end.
Eight rounds. Three years. Hundreds of hours of breathing, conversations, breakthroughs, tears, laughter and some pretty spectacular transformations.
It felt like a natural place to close the chapter.
I was pivoting more of my energy toward Rebel Soul Media, my digital marketing and web design business, and if Iām being completely transparent, thatās where most of my online income is coming from these days.
And I love it.
I love helping entrepreneurs build businesses, find their voices and create something meaningful in the world.
But hereās the thing about pivots. Just because something new is calling doesnāt necessarily mean everything that came before has to disappear. Especially when whatās come before has taken on a life of its own.
Because while I was busy planning my next chapter, there was this incredible group of women who werenāt quite ready to close this one.
And, as it turns out, neither was I.
So here we are. Round fucking TEN.
Breath Alchemy Circle lives on.
At least for another six months.
And this time, weāre doing things a little differently.
Somewhere along the way, healing became another full-time job.
I discovered breathwork while living in Costa Rica in 2016, during a period of my life when I was doing some pretty serious healing.
I went on to train as a facilitator in 2017 and have spent the better part of the last decade sharing this practice with hundreds of people.
I have witnessed some extraordinary experiences. People moving through grief. Connecting with emotions they hadnāt allowed themselves to feel. Finding clarity in the middle of chaos. Experiencing moments of deep peace, insight and connection.
Iāve experienced those things myself.
I believe deeply in the power of breathwork as a tool for self-exploration and healing.
But after all these years in the personal development, yoga, plant medicine and spiritual wellness worlds, Iāve also started questioning something.
At what point do we stop treating ourselves like an endless renovation project?
Thereās always another shadow to explore; more trauma to process, yet another limiting belief to dismantle.
Another fucking version of ourselves weāre supposed to become.
And donāt get me wrong. There is a time and place for deep healing work. Sometimes itās necessary, sometimes itās uncomfortable, and sometimes it changes everything.
But I also believe there comes a point when we have to ask ourselves whether all this digging is actually helping us live.
Or whether weāve become so identified with healing that weāve forgotten weāre allowed to feel good.
Breathwork isnāt just about releasing what hurts.
When I first began teaching breathwork, I talked a lot about its benefits on three levels: physical, emotional and spiritual.
And I still do.
On a physical level, the way we breathe can influence our stress response, our state of arousal and how we experience our bodies.
On an emotional level, breathwork can give us space to notice feelings weāve been avoiding, connect with whatās happening inside us and sometimes experience a powerful emotional release.
And spiritually, for those of us who experience life through that lens (this is my FAVE aspect of the work, BTW), breathwork can offer a profound sense of connection to ourselves, our intuition and something bigger than our everyday thoughts.
But there is another side to this practice that I want to talk about more.
Breathwork can also help us practice feeling fucking amazing.
Not every session needs to be about grief. Not every practice needs to uncover some buried wound.
Sometimes I want to breathe to feel joy. Sensuality. Courage.
To feel expansive, creative, playful, connected and ALIVE.
I want to feel the energy of the woman I already know myself to be, rather than spending another hour trying to figure out whatās preventing me from becoming her.
And when I talk about embodying a frequency or a vibration, this is what I mean.
Iām not suggesting that breathing at some magical frequency will manifest a new car in your driveway. Iām talking about becoming familiar with a feeling.
What does freedom actually feel like in your body?
What does confidence feel like before youāve received external validation?
What does joy feel like when nothing particularly spectacular has happened?
What does it feel like to move through your day from a place of possibility instead of constantly anticipating the next problem?
Because our internal state influences the way we experience the world, the choices we make, the boundaries we hold and how we connect with other people.
We donāt have to wait for every external circumstance to line up perfectly before we allow ourselves to experience something rad.
Sometimes we can begin with the breath.
The women who keep coming back.
When I returned to rural Ontario after ten years in Costa Rica, one of the things I missed most was my community.
For years Iād been surrounded by healers, seekers, yoga teachers, facilitators, plant medicine people and all manner of hippies and crystal dealers.
I had people to have deep conversations with. People who understood my weirdness. People who werenāt going to raise an eyebrow when I started talking about intuition, embodiment or the latest existential question keeping me up at night.
And then I moved home.
I wanted to create a place for women who might not have their people living down the street (this was a huge integration for me being back in rural Ontario! Breathwork isnāt a āthingā here).
A place where you could show up with messy hair, coffee in hand and your mask off.
A place where we could talk about what was actually going on in our lives before lying down to breathe.
That was part of the inspiration behind Breath Alchemy Circle.
Some of the women in this community have been here since 2023. Theyāve watched each other navigate career changes, relationships, loss, growth, new beginnings and all the messy shit that comes with being human.
Weāve gone on retreats together. Some are joining me on retreats in 2027. Friendships have grown beyond our Thursday mornings.
And hereās what I find most fascinating:
I donāt think these women are coming back every round because they desperately need another breathwork session. Theyāre coming back because theyāve found something worth returning to.
A ritual. A community. A standing appointment with themselves.
And in a world where weāre constantly being pulled in a hundred directions, that might be one of the most valuable things we can create.
One hour a week. For half a year.
There are a million ways to learn how to do breathwork. You can watch a YouTube video. Get my free resources. Download an app. Follow a guided meditation. Sign up for a one-off workshop.
And all of those can be wonderful starting points. But thereās a difference between trying something and making it part of your life.
Thatās why Breath Alchemy Circle isnāt a three-week challenge or a collection of recordings you purchase and forget about. Itās six months. Itās:
Twenty-four Thursday morning gatherings.
A standing date with yourself.
Not when life settles down.
Not when your family needs you less.
Not when work finally gets quiet.
Now.
Every Thursday we come together online, shoot the shit for a little while, and then move into a guided, themed breathwork practice using music, meditation, visualization and reflection.
Some weeks we explore joy. Others we explore courage, surrender, belonging, self-trust or the beautiful experience of being alive in these bodies.
Some weeks the practice is powerful and emotional. Other weeks itās quiet and grounding. Sometimes you have a big realization. Sometimes you simply get an hour when nobody needs anything from you.
And while youāre making this commitment to yourself, youāre also becoming part of a circle of women who are making the same commitment.
Ritual. Aliveness. Community.
These are the three pillars guiding Round 10.
Ritual is the commitment to return to yourself every week, long enough for the practice to become something more than another item on your to-do list.
Aliveness is the invitation to explore what feels good. Not to bypass the difficult parts of life, but to remember that pain isnāt the only doorway into growth. Joy, pleasure, possibility and curiosity deserve our attention too.
Community is the magic of being surrounded by women who are figuring this whole life thing out alongside you. Women who donāt need you to be anything other than yourself.
And woven through all three is the soul-level growth that happens when you make room to listen to yourself.
You donāt need another guru. You need a practice.
Iāve completed multiple breathwork facilitator trainings over the years, and I continue to learn from the people and experiences that shape my work.
That experience matters to me, especially when Iām holding space for other people.
But I donāt believe that being a breathwork coach or facilitator means I have the answers to someone elseās life.
And while breathwork certification and training can teach us techniques, facilitation skills and important safety considerations, no certificate makes someone an authority on your inner world.
My job isnāt to tell you what your experience means.
Itās to create the space, guide the practice, ask good questions and remind you that you get to decide what feels right for you.
You can slow down, return to natural breathing, open your eyes or choose not to participate in any part of a session. You are not here to surrender your authority to me. Youāre here to deepen your relationship with yourself.
And you donāt need to be experienced to begin. Whether youāre brand new and curious about online breathwork classes or youāve spent years exploring personal development, there is room for you.
Maybe this is what growth looks like now.
Hereās another thing Iāve noticed. Most of the women who find their way into Breath Alchemy Circle are over 40.
And I think thereās something worth talking about there. At a certain point in life, many of us start getting less interested in being told who weāre supposed to become.
Weāve lived. Weāve learned. Weāve made some questionable decisions. Weāve survived things we werenāt sure weād survive.
Weāve done the work.
And maybe weāre no longer particularly interested in spending the rest of our lives looking for whatās wrong with us.
Maybe weāre ready to explore whatās RIGHT with us.
What lights us up.
What makes us feel free.
What we want more of.
Who we are when we stop apologizing for taking up space.
I still believe in shadow work. I still believe in facing the uncomfortable stuff. But Iām no longer interested in making that the centre of every conversation.
Weāve spent enough time diving into the shadows. What happens when we start exploring our light?
What happens when we stop making healing the prerequisite for living?
When we decide we are worthy of joy before weāve resolved every difficult thing in our lives?
When we stop waiting for permission to be fully, unapologetically ourselves?
Thatās the energy Iām bringing into Round 10. Not another six months of trying to fix ourselves. Six months of showing up for the women we already are.
Come for the breathwork. Stay because you found your people.
Breath Alchemy Circle begins its tenth round on November 5, 2026. Weāll gather virtually every Thursday morning for six months.
Twenty-four live gatherings, weekly themed practices, space for conversation and integration, and replays for the weeks when life gets in the way.
Itās $199 CAD per month for six months, a total commitment of $1,194 CAD.
I canāt tell you whether there will be a Round 11. I donāt know exactly what this part of my business will look like in 2027.
But I do know that this community is alive, the women are showing up, and I still have so much I want to explore through the breath.
So weāre keeping the circle open.
For the black sheep, rebel souls, wild hearts and truth seekers.
For the women who want a little less fixing and a whole lot more living.
For the women who donāt necessarily need another transformational experience, but could really use an hour each week that belongs entirely to them.
Come as you are. We breathe from there.
